One to One Pilates Studio
Private, personal One to One sessions are perfect for you if you would like a Pilates programme tailored for you as an individual.
Perhaps you are new to Pilates and would like an introductory session or course to learn the Principles .
A personally-customised Pilates experience
Pilates studio exercise programmes are created especially for each client’s specific needs and aspirations
Studio sessions are conducted on specialised equipment under my personal supervision. Adjustments are made to the equipment as required, in line with the client’s progress and capabilities.
These sessions can be useful in correcting postural muscle imbalances using the latest strategies, self-myofascial release, stretching and strength exercises relevant to posture correction.
They may be the best option for clients needing rehabilitation for which a specific, and carefully monitored exercise programme is needed.
Sessions can be either home-based, at the Bridge Pilates Studio located in Balsall Common,
or via Zoom.
Equipment
Pilates Step Barrel
The Pilates Step Barrel or Spine Corrector, mainly focuses on the abdominal, shoulder and back muscles, but it works the pelvic muscles and legs as well. It was also designed to strengthen and stretch the spine and is ideal for opening the chest and restoring the natural curve of the spine.
Pilates Reformer
The Reformer is the most popular and versatile pieces of Pilates equipment designed by Joseph Pilates. It consists of a carriage that moves back and forth along tracks within a frame. The resistance is provided by your body weight and a set of springs attached to both the carriage and the platform. It facilitates hundreds of strengthening and stretching exercises.
Pilates 'Wunda' Chair
The ‘Wunda’ Chair is used for balance and strength exercises that maintain focus on developing the core. You can work your arms and legs individually or together and with the adjustable spring system you can change the resistance to suit your level. It offers a huge variety of exercise possibilities that are often quite challenging!
